Abstract

The problem studied in this Research is the low result of student mathematics learning Result. Students are still learning difficulties, students only receive knowledge information and do Exercise that is given by teacher, students are students tend to be shy and lazy to ask material that is not understood, this affects toward students' result in mathematics learning in social arithmetic material . One that can be done to improve the learning outcomes of students' social arithmetic is to use Komidi Putar Diskusi learning method. This research aims to Know is There Any Influence of using Komidi Putar Diskusi method Toward Learning Result of Social Arithmetic at VII Grade Students of Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1 Sungkai Tengah Academic Year 2018/2019. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The population in this Research were VII Grade Students of Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1 Sungkai Tengah Academic Year 2018/2019. Sampling in this Research is using purposive sampling technique. The research sample used was students of class VII A and class VII B. The instruments used were written explanatory tests that had been approved validity, degree of suitability, differentiation and real reliability. Data analysis was carried out using the t test, based on the results of data analysis using the t test obtained tcount = 2.26, then tested two parties at a significance level of a = 0.05 obtained t (0.05) (60) = 2,000. The calculation results prove that t count> t table so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The conclusion obtained is the method any influence of Using Komidi Putar Diskusi Toward Learning Result of Social Arithmetic at VII Grade Students of Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1 Sungkai Tengah Academic Year
2018/2019.
