Abstract

The problem studied in this study is how students are interested in learning before and after using comic-illustrated math worksheets during the covid-19 pandemic. Based on the situation and circumstances due to the covid-19 pandemic that is being experienced by almost every country, teaching and learning is done at home online. The comic-illustrated math worksheets will be one of the teaching materials that will be used for students during this pandemic. Previous teaching materials tended to be monotonous making students less interested in learning mathematics. The purpose of this study was to find out how students' interest in learning before and after using comic-illustrated math worksheets in class VIII of SMP Negeri 3 Bukit Kemuning during the Covid-19 pandemic in North Lampung in the 2020/2021 Academic Year. The research method used is an exploratory survey research method. This study uses a survey method so that the results of this study will later be described from the results of the respondent's questions in the form of a survey which aims to find out how high the interest of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Bukit Kemuning in learning mathematics worksheets illustrated with comics in North Lampung Academic Year 2020/2021 is. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling. The instrument used in this study was a comic-illustrated math worksheet and a student interest questionnaire consisting of 20 questions.
